A few girlfriends and I saw Australia on Saturday. Not knowing much about it beforehand, I enjoyed the movie and left the theater feeling glad I went to see it. Regardless of its nearly 3-hour length (yes, we were warned), the plot moved along quickly. And overall, it was an attention-holding film.

Even though critics have given it mixed reviews, it is worth seeing.
