So much for the traditional 4th of July. We woke up to rain and according to the weather, rain showers were expected all morning long so my parents, Tim and I decided to pass on the Upper Arlington parade. It has been a family tradition of ours since as long as I can remember. Though it would have been fun to see the OSU alumni marching band, antique cars and neighborhood floats, we decided to stay dry and have my aunt Cindy and uncle Stu over for lunch.
Tonight we hope to see fireworks, assuming the rain stays away and doesn't cancel the show.
