Playdate with Gus and Milton

On Friday afternoon, Duchess had her first playdate with Gus and Milton. Like expected, Duchess ran cirles around the boys. Will we ever find a dog that keeps up with her or runs circles around her??? ... probably not, unless it's another GSP or a Weim.

So here's how the game went... I would threw the rope as far as I could and Duch would get to it first. Gus and Milton would run out together but not fast enough.


By the time Gus and Milton would get to where the rope landed, Duch was long gone.


After this happened a few times, Gus and Milton decided to just stand there and watch Duch run through the yard.


Duchess was proud of her repeated victories but never quite understand why Gus and Milton quit chasing after her.


Eventually Gus and Milton gave up on playing rope with Duchess and decided to dig a hole in my flowerbed so they could cool off.


The boys will have to come over and play with Duchess again because by the end of the afternoon Duchess was worn out.
