Highlights from Estes Park, Part 1

Having spent a week in Estes Park with my family, I took a couple hundred pictures and have lots of stories. I won't bore you with all the details; rather I'll share with you a few highlights from our trip. I don't know how many entries I'll post but here's part 1.

Tim and I woke up before dawn, 4 AM to be specific, to catch an early morning flight to Colorado. Some how we got lucky and flew the longest leg of the trip in first class. Wow! Talk about royal treatment: free food, drinks, movies, etc. - now that's the way to fly.

After arriving in Denver and meeting up with my parents, we had lunch at Mimi's Cafe (one of my dad's favorite restaurants.)



After lunch and a quick run to the grocery store, we drove up to Estes Park and got ourselves settled in our cabin, Bald Eagle, at the YMCA camp.

My brother, sister-in-law, and two nephews arrived later that first day and joined us at the cabin.
