Summer Storms

While driving to work this morning, I was listening to the radio and the weatherman came on to give the weather report. This is what he said, "current temperature is 74 degrees and rain likely today."

Rain likely?! Mr. Weatherman, I have my windshield wipers on nearly full speed because it's RAINING! Look out your window! Those things falling from the sky are raindrops. It's not probably going to rain today. It IS raining and has been for the last day or so.

Does anyone else get a kick out of what weathermen say sometimes?

We are very thankful for the rain as we desperately need it and wish the storm would sit overtop of us for a week or more because we are far behind in our rainfall for the year.

Come, let us return to the LORD for He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us. He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before Him. So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD. His going forth is as certain as the dawn; And He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth.
